Science Not Silence

Bright Future

Monday

17:30 - 18:00

As our complex world faces immense social challenges, “a science for a

better tomorrow” means nurturing a stronger and healthier relationship

among scientific communities and the people our work serves. In the

US, polls show that scientists currently enjoy the highest level of public

trust. Yet, there appears to be a meaningful disconnect with that vote

of confidence and a tangible support of science funding and education

and with understanding the relevance of science to lived experiences.

More resilient and effective engagement among diverse communities is

critical to imagining and building better, sustainable futures.
