How to Get here

Schlossgraben 1, 64283 Darmstadt

Arrival by plane

Darmstadt is close to the international Airport Frankfurt am Main. From the airport, you can travel by train or car (for detailed instructions see below). Additionally, you can take the AirLiner, a bus, which connects the airport and the Darmstadtium directly.

Arrival by public transport

You can reach the congress centre in just five minutes using the public transport services departing from Darmstadt main station (Hauptbahnhof), which is also served by ICE high speed trains.

Bus and tram services run to and from the central bus station (Zentraler Omnibusbahnof, ZOB), which is located near the main entrance on the east side of the central train station. The tram and bus routes (trams: 2&3; buses: F, H, K, K55, K56, K85, n71, 671, 672, 673, 674, 677, 678, 681, 682, 684, and 693), take you directly to the Darmstadtium (use the stop called "Schloss"). More trams and buses run to "Luisenplatz", which is only a few minutes walk from Darmstadtium.

Arrival by car

Leave the A5 highway at the exit "Darmstadt Mitte" or approach on the A67, following the signs for "Darmstadt" and likewise take the next exit "Darmstadt Mitte". Both routes take you onto the feeder road to the city centre, which later becomes Rheinstraße (B26).

Follow the signs to "Darmstadtium" or "Aschaffenburg" (B26). After the City-Tunnel turn left at the next traffic light (signposted). Darmstadtium offers an underground car park. Additional parking spaces are available in connected and neighbouring car parks.
